Brand Spotlight: Tulle

Tulle, launched in 1999, is a vintage inspired modern clothing line that incorporates classic notions of femininity with modern silhouettes. What started off as a collection focusing on outerwear and sweaters has expanded and now offers a full sportswear collection of tops, skirts and dresses as well.

On their website, www.tulle4us.com, the line describes their simple formula for design:
“We soak up our love of vintage fashion, mix it up with vintage and modern silhouettes, and have fun playing with classic and contemporary prints to create a distinctive brand that is both feminine and sweet. Perfect for a day out on the town that can easily be carried into the evening.”

Tulle’s vintage inspired style has become a favorite among some of the most fashion forward stars in Hollywood and New York City. Celebs like Kim Kardashian, Courtney Cox, Rachel Bilson and other fashion icons have all been spotted rocking Tulle frocks for anything from casual lunches to A-list events.

Not only has Tulle become a favorite of these celebrities, but it has also become an editorial favorite of some of the most circulated magazines in the country. Publications like Redbook, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), Glamour, and People StyleWatch consistently feature pieces from Tulle in their monthly editorials.

Be sure to keep a look out for Tulle in upcoming issues of your favorite publications! Or to browse their collection visit www.tulle4us.com.

The Stars Came Out for KROQ's Annual Weenie Roast

Los Angeles’s KROQ radio station brought the stars out this past weekend to Verizon Wireless amphitheatre for their annual KROQ Weenie Roast. Bands played throughout the night, but the real excitement was going on backstage where celebs were gifted with awesome apparel from brands including HoodieBuddie, Paul Frank, and EQ. Stars flocking to the booths included Linkin Park, Face to Face, The Strokes, Neon Trees, Dr. Drew, Rise Against’s Brandon Barnes, and the Foo Fighters’ lead singer Dave Grohl.

Grohl was wowed by HoodieBuddie's HB3 Technology and grabbed one in every color, while Chris Allen, guitarist for indie band Neon Trees, referred to the InSound hoodies as, “the gnarliest things I’ve seen all day.” Brandon Barnes from the band Rise Against was another celeb impressed with the popular hoodies and picked one up for himself at the HoodieBuddie booth.

Rocker, Mark Foster from the band Foster the People stopped by the  EQ booth to check out their latest pieces, and even grabbed a popular Balance Bracelet for himself.

Face to Face frontman, Trever Keith also grabbed an EQ Balance Bracelet for himself before heading onstage to play for the crowd!

More celebs were found over at the Paul Frank booth checking out the latest pieces from the popular line. The drummer from Face to Face, Danny Thompson, loved the Paul Frank booth and even grabbed a Skurvy Rocker Girl Tote for his daughter while Julian Casablancas of The Strokes picked out his very own Paul Frank sunnies.
